Summary of presentation:

 

This keynote will present Taiwan’s efforts to build health prevention networks through occupational therapy. Since 2017, OTs have led programs to prevent or delay disability, supported community participation, and advised governments on healthy aging strategies. Despite unresolved challenges such as unclear intervention positioning and the need for sustainable community models, the upcoming Long-Term Care 3.0 policy highlights prevention and reablement—areas where OT is positioned to play a central role in shaping the future of public health.
